Cloud Computing Bootcamp

Jul. 30 | Washington, DC

Sep. 17 | Atlanta, GA

Nov. 19 | Houston, TX

Overview

The Cloud Computing Association is pleased to announce a series of one-day events to be held in regional markets around the country designed exclusively for small-to-middle-market businesses (SMBs) and their counterparts in government agencies and healthcare organizations whose responsibilities include evaluating, purchasing and implementing cloud-based solutions.

According to a recent survey of over 600 SMBs (defined as businesses and organizations with as few as 20, and up to 1,000 employees), the SMB cloud market will grow to $32 billion in 2016 – which is up by over 19 percent over 2014. In 2014 SMBs used an average of five (5) cloud-based services including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), hosted storage and services and other business applications. By 2016 it is estimated that each SBM in this market will be utilizing an average of nine (9) cloud-based services.

The inaugural 2015 events in our Cloud Boot-Camps for SMBs series will be held as follows:

  • Washington, DC – July 30, 2015
  • Atlanta. GA – September 17, 2015
  • Houston, TX – November 19, 2015

At these events, SMBs will be joined by leading cloud solution-providers and some of their end-user clients who will provide step-by-step guidance on how enterprise business functions may be made more efficient, streamlined and cost-effective by deploying cloud-based solutions. Case studies of actual implementations will highlight the challenges, and shed valuable light on the dos and don’ts.
